Cheap Dejan Lovren Liverpool FC Soccer Jersey/Shirt/Hoodie/Hat Wholesale

While hardly edifying for either player, the spectacularly petty war of words between Sergio Ramos and Dejan Lovren continues to rumble on into yet another new week.

The ill feeling between Ramos and several members of the Liverpool camp began during last season’s Champions League final, wherein the Real Madrid captain tangled with Mohamed Salah and injured the Egypt forward’s shoulder.

Several minor flare-ups have occurred since, before Lovren fully reignited the feud last month in an interview in which he claimed Ramos “makes more mistakes” than him.

Croatia then faced Spain in the Nations League on Thursday evening, snatching a dramatic 3-2 win in stoppage time. After the game, Lovren posted a video message on his Instagram story from the dressing room in which he once again took aim at Ramos, appearing to brag about elbowing his adversary in the head.

That was enough for Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic to intervene and vow to talk to his defender in an attempt to stop the squabbling from getting out of hand.

Of course, not being one to let things lie, Ramos has since swatted back at Lovren over social media by “liking” an Instagram post on fan account ramos4isco22 of an image trolling the Reds centre-half.

The composite image in question shows Ramos holding the Champions League trophy aloft over a distraught Lovren sobbing in defeat.

So, will this prove to be the end of the bickering? We all live in hope but alas, it would appear that we’re talking about two of the most infantile footballers in existence here.

Cheap James Milner Liverpool FC Soccer Jersey/Shirt/Hoodie/Hat Wholesale

Every successful squad needs a few key veterans in it. Players who have been there, done that; who have both gotten the winner’s medal and struggled with coming in second (or seventh) best. Players who know what it takes to bridge that gap.

For Liverpool, any list of the key veterans starts with James Milner, and for the younger players, his experience is invaluable. At least according to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who sees a blueprint for his own future in the vice-captain’s approach.

“I’d say James Milner is the most consistent player I’ve ever played or trained with,” Alexander-Arnold said. “I’ve never seen him have a bad session or a bad game. He’s so reliable and so versatile and that’s everything you want in a player.

“He’ll put his body on the line for the team and he’s non-stop. When times are hard, he’ll put in a tackle that lifts everyone and gets everyone up for the game [and] off the pitch he holds the highest standards that I’ve probably ever seen in someone.”

Few in the game work as hard as Milner does to stay fit and focused, and if some of that dedication to keeping himself physically prepared rubs off on a younger player like the 20-year-old Alexander-Arnold, that can’t be anything but a good thing.

“He demands a lot from himself and seeing that on a daily basis is incredible,” the young fullback added. “He’ll never give up in training, he’ll never stop running, and it gives you that motivation to do the same.”

Cheap Emre Can Liverpool FC Soccer Jersey/Shirt/Hoodie/Hat Wholesale
